  1. It all makes so much sense, doesn't it? Live simply, deeply, passionately.

So many of us live our lives in the "reaction" mode. We simply react from each situation, person, comment etc. that comes our way, which frankly evolves into "damage control" living instead of genuine living. And then we wonder what went wrong. It's like a line from a Jackson Browne song... "I don't know when that road turned into the road I'm on...Running on empty."

I love how Janet Bray and Chris Attenwood say we should live in their book "The Passion Test"... Live with Intention, Attention, No tension.
How fulfilling woud it be to live like that?! (I'd recommend the book if you have not read it)

For today I am INTENTIONALLY grabbing my snowshoes and heading out for a trek. I will pay ATTENTION to the wonderland I'm moving slowly through. I will have NO TENSION by the time I finish a good micro-brew at our favorite Mexican Restaurant on the way home.

LIFE is good...and I'm running on full. (I suspect yours is too!)

  2. Thanks for the recommendation, I will check it out. Sounds like you had the perfect Sunday planned. Except for the whole cold/snow thing, IMO. :)
